Cohort Hub

This page is the ‘go-to’ hub for the Regenerative Futures Fund cohort of capacity-building organisations and collectives. Bookmark it for easy access to the most important information, resources and updates.

Communication

We use online platform Slack to communicate outside of events. The RFF team will use Slack to share important announcements with you, and we encourage you to use it to connect with each other (feel free to share news and opportunities to collaborate). You can also use Slack to ask the RFF team questions (but please check the FAQs first!).

You can send messages in public ‘channels’ or send direct messages to individuals or groups in private chats. We invite you to use Slack before email whenever possible.

How to use Slack

We recommend exploring this quick-start guide to learn how to use Slack - including a 45-second video that covers the basics.

On Slack, you’ll see a list of ‘channels’ in the left sidebar. These are spaces for you to have conversations in. We have set up:

Calendar

Important note: The time is still to be confirmed for the optional in-person 'Ethics for Fundraising Corporate Partners' session on Friday 10th October. Mairi will send the calendar invitation once the time is confirmed. Thanks for your patience.

  • The Monthly Cohort Calendar shows all events. The colour-coded key tells you which type of event each is. Purple and yellow are not events, but important dates.

  • If you don’t see events in your calendar, message Mairi on Slack.

  • For in-person events at EFI, room numbers may change last-minute. Please check the calendar invitation for the most up-to-date information.

  • If you have a question about the proposal, please wait to ask it until our Proposal Walk-Through event on Thursday 9th October.

  • Sessions are not recorded. If you missed an event, catch up on meeting minutes and important updates here.

  • Invitations are currently sent through to the end of October.

Proposal

Key Dates

  • Tuesday 7th October: The RFF team will send you information about the proposal: the process, guidelines, timeline, and questions we ask you to answer in your proposal.

  • Thursday 9th October: An online event where the RFF team will walk you through the proposal, and answer any questions. Please make sure someone from your organisation/collective joins this session.

  • You can view dates for other online sessions about the proposal (colour-coded green) on the Cohort Monthly Calendar. Mairi will soon send calendar invitations for these with confirmed times. These sessions will not be recorded but we will share a summary of the most important information on this hub, as well as by email and on Slack.

We will share more information about the proposal - including the submission deadline - here shortly. Please check back for updates.
