Update: Book your Proposal Review Session & Guidance for Your Three Horizons Map

Cohort update date: Thursday 6th November 2025

From: Mairi

Hi all,

You can now book your 1-hour proposal review session with Aala in December (9-12th) or January (12-16th). This session is mandatory and will be held online; it will focus on language and clarity. You must book your session by Wednesday 19th November.

If possible, please email your proposal to Aala a couple of days before. The deadline to submit your proposal is 18th January 2026.

The link is also on Slack and the Cohort Hub & Proposal webpages. And here: https://calendar.app.google/ZexpBYK1EcLTFUkc6

Three Horizons Maps

As part of your RFF proposal submission, you are required to submit a Three Horizons map. I have now uploaded meeting minutes from the in-person support session on Friday 24th October - which includes photographs of maps created on the day. These notes will help you create your map, so please take the time to read through them. You can find more guidance for your map here on the Proposal webpage.

A note from Aala (from the start of the meeting minutes linked above):

Thank you for joining the Regenerative Futures Fund (RFF) half-day session on exploring systems change through the Three Horizons framework. We know that “systems change” can mean many different things depending on where we sit and what we’re working on, so this session was designed to help us build a shared language and approach. The Three Horizons model is the same one we used with residents earlier in the year, and it’s the approach we’re asking you to use when framing your project proposal — to show how your work contributes to change across the system.

Best wishes,

Mairi
