Principles of Working Together
Meeting date: Thursday 25th September 2025
Meeting focus: RFF Principles of Working Together
š Notes:
Aala presented the āPrinciples of Working Togetherā shaped by the RFF residents panel: https://regenerativefuturesfund.org.uk/principles-of-working
These principles describe our aims for working as a team and also with our partner organisations and wider networks - including our Board of Funders, and anybody who engages with RFF moving forward.
Itās important to understand we have a zero-tolerance policy for these principles. This means that organisations that breach this collective agreement will be asked to leave the RFF application process and networks.
There was support in the group for projects/orgs wanting to collaborate to learn together about intersectionality and racial equity. Mairi has created a Slack channel (#intersectionality_racial-equity) as a space for you to self-organise (e.g. training). Hereās how to join the channel.
Reminder to move communications to Slack. If any of your colleagues have not yet joined, please share this link with them.
ā Actions:
Read the āPrinciples of Working Togetherā shaped by the residents panel, and sign on to it through the link (should take 5-10 minutes).
Send your clusters ranking on Slack if you havenāt yet (you can send Mairi a direct message). Remember this isnāt an exact science; we just want to make sure there are an equal number of projects reviewed by each resident panel (one for each cluster):
We're asking for groups to share (via Slack) their rankings of how they think they fit into the 3 themes - just futures, community voice, environment. An example of the response we want from you is just a simple line: We're Edinburgh Climate Group and our order is 1) climate 2) community voice 3) just futures
