Regenerative Futures Fund’s First Annual Report: July 2025 - September 2025 (Year Zero)

We are proud to share our first ever Regenerative Futures Fund Annual Report. The report can be accessed and downloaded here.

This report is an important marker in a journey with many fellow travellers, from an idea in a blog in 2021 towards launch in 2025. Our deepest thanks to every person - of which there are many - who has helped to shape this: colleagues and friends from community organisations, funding organisations, local authority, as well as residents, freelancers, mentors, critical voices and cheerleaders.

We call the year from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025 our Year Zero - the period before the start of the ten-year programme, which will start in Spring 2026. During this period we have been moving through the challenging and exhilarating process of doing something new, being in an iterative process where we learn, share and solicit input and support along the way. In this report we have also captured some critical pre-work from July 2025, when Regenerative Futures Fund moved into Foundation Scotland.

We consider the audience of this report to be those working alongside Regenerative Futures Fund – current funders, local authority partners, potential future funders, community organisations, and residents.
