Call for an Illustrator (paid opportunity)
The Regenerative Futures Fund is a ten-year fund working to support communities in Edinburgh to address poverty, racism and the climate crisis, and to build a more just and regenerative future. We are looking for an Edinburgh-based illustrator to create a deck of original (without use of AI) illustrations/graphics for our annual report.
What we’re looking for
We’d like a collection of illustrations that represent people and communities across Edinburgh, bringing a sense of human experience, connection, warmth and possibility to the report. We are particularly interested in working with BPOC artists and disabled artists, recognising that these groups continue to face barriers to artist opportunities and freelance work.
Practical details
Deliverable: A deck of original high-resolution illustrations/graphics suitable for use in a digital and printed annual report.
Location: Edinburgh-based artists.
Fee: £283, based on the Scottish Artists Union 8-hour day rate (VAT included). We have budgeted 3-4 days work.
Timescale: We are looking for the artwork to be complete by Thursday 24 September and would like this to see/ comment on a couple of drafts in September.
